Feb. 17, 1944 - March 3, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Betty Jo (HAUSER) LEEDY, 52, Deedsville, died at 7:05 p.m. Sunday at her mother’s<br />

residece, 502 East <strong>Rochester</strong> St., Akron. She had been in failing health for six months.<br />

She was born in Lubbock, Texas, to Charles Edward and Lois MILLER HAUSER. On<br />

Aug. 12, 1967 in Macy she married Richard E. LEEDY who survives. She was a homemaker and<br />

employee of Hart, Schaffner and Marx Corp. where she was a die cutter and surger. She lived in<br />

the Deedsville community for 29 years.<br />

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Amy Jo and Jamie Jo [LEEDY], and two<br />

sons, Mark E. and Daryl K. [LEEDY], all of Deedsville; her mother, Lois R. HAUSER, Akron;<br />

one sister, Sue McGUIRE, Indianapolis, and one niece, Lynelle McGUIRE, Miami, Fla.<br />

Preceding in death was her father, Charles, who died Jan. 27, 1992.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Akron, with the<br />

Rev. James MALBONE officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and after<br />

9 a.m. Wednesday. Memorias may be made to Hope Hospice of <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong>.<br />

Aug. 19, 1920 - March 4, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Wade L. HOLLOWAY, 75, 202 S Maple St., Akron, died at 9:35 a.m. Monday at<br />

Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.<br />

He was born in New Paris to Fred and Vera STAHLY HOLLOWAY. On Nov. 23, 1941,<br />

in Akron, he married Velma I. DAVIS, who survives. He was a Mobil Oil distributor for over 35<br />

years and drove a school bus for Tippecanoe Valley Schools for several years. He was a member<br />

of the Akron Church of the Brethren and the <strong>Rochester</strong> Masonic Lodge, formerly known as the<br />

Akron Masonic Lodge.<br />

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) JONES, Silver Lake;<br />

and Mrs. Jeffrey (Debra) TURNER, Warsaw; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three<br />

sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Arlene) GEARHART and Mrs. Norman (Rozella) TINKEY, both of Akron;<br />

and Mrs. Kenneth (Pauline) RYMAN, Warsaw; one brother, Carlyle and wife Wilma<br />

HOLLOWAY, Akron; and one foster-brother, Terry and wife Maureen WEED, Ft. Lauderdale.<br />

Preceding in death was one sister, Betty MEREDITH.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Thursday at the Akron Church of the Brethren, with the<br />

Revs. John MISHLER, Olden MITCHELL and Richard KNARR officiating. Burial will be in the<br />

Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler<br />

Funeral Home, Akron. Memorials may be made to the Akron Church of the Brethren or Heart<br />

Association.
