Gertrude A. HERMANN MUNDT, 83, 414 Sweetgum Road, died at 8:15 p.m. Monday
at Life Care Center of Rochester, where she had resided since November, 1994.
She was born in Muskegon, Mich., to John and Anna MONSMA GREENDYKE. On
Nov. 10, 1934, in LaPorte, she married Fred R. HERMANN, who died on July 12, 1980. On Aug.
24, 1987, in Winamac, she married Bernard MUNDT Sr., who died on Oct.19, 1991. She had
lived in the Rocheser area since 1948, having come from Muskegon, Mich She was a salesperson
for the former Wiles Department Store and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, both of
Rochester.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Diane) BATHRICK, Muskegon, Mich; Mrs.
Robert (Sandra) CARPENTER, Jackson, Mich; Mrs. Jerry (Marcia) BEHRENS, Des Moines,
Iowa; and Mrs. Larry (Kristine) MUELLER, Rochester; four sons, Frad Robert and Anne
HERMANN, Milford, Del.; Jerrold W. and Donna HERMANN, Rochester, Rochester; Dr Bruce
D. and Dianne HERMANN, Winaac; and Brad and Kaye HERMANN, Macy; two step-daughters,
Mrs. Frank (Karen) McCULLY, Florida; and Mrs. Richard (Teryl) WEISNER, Sturgeon Bay,
Wis; four step-sons, Bernard MUNDT Jr., Havre de Grace, Md.; Michel and Kurt MUNDT, both
of Muskegon, Mich.; and Marc MUNDT, Buffalo Grove, Ill; twenty-three grandchildren, and
several great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were one sister, Catherine MUNDT; and two
brothers, Jim and John GREENDYKE.
Services will be at 2 p.m Friday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the
Rev. Martin MASITTO officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends
may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.

Joe Fisher

Joe FISHER, 52, 7909 North Tippecanoe Shores, Tippecanoe, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday
at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born in Plymouth to Bill and Lottie HARMON FISHER He had spent his entire
lfe in the Tippecanoe community, and was divorced. He was in the logging business
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy HERROLD, West Virginia; one grandson, Bryan
HERROLD, West Virginia; his mother, Lottie SANNER, Bourbon; and several aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Arrangements are pendig at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
