Mary Helen (JUDKINS) SAGE, 83, 308 N. O’Neil St., Frankfort, died at 4:55 p.m.<br />

Monday at her residence.<br />

She was born n Robinson, Ill., to Dr. Harry C. and Nancy June PICKELL JUDKINS. In<br />

1965 in <strong>Rochester</strong>, she married Kermit R. SAGE, who died in February 1978. She was a foundry<br />

worker at Indiana Brass Co., Frankfort, for 17 years and lived most of her life in Frankfort. She<br />

was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frankfort, and Frankfort Moose Lodge No. 7.<br />

Surviving are two sons, Edgar M. THOMAS, Kewanna; and John S THOMAS,<br />

Frankfort; three daughters, Mrs. Euel (Patricia J.) BIRGE, <strong>Rochester</strong>; Judith A. HEATH,<br />

Kewanna; and Roberta C GALVIN, Frankfort; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two greatgrandchildren;<br />

and life-long friend Helen CHILDERS, Sedalia. Preceding in death were three<br />

husbands, George A. THOMAS, Edward GALVIN, and Kermit SAGE; two sons, William R<br />

THOMAS and Richard GALVIN; and one daughter, Bonnie Mae GALVIN.<br />

Graveside services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, with the<br />

Rev. Gerold BORAWSKI. <strong>The</strong>re will be no visitation Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s<br />

Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.<br />

Eller-Weston Funeral Home, Frankfort, is in charge of the arrangements.<br />

Nov. 15, 1906 - Feb. 5, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Anthony M. “Pat” WALSH, 89, 411 N. Tucker St., Mentone, died at 9:55 p.m. Monday<br />

at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.<br />

He was born in Parkston, S.D, to Michael and Brigetta MANLEY WALSH. On May 7,<br />

1946, he married Louise BERGSTROM, who survives. He had been a resident of Mentone for 50<br />

years, having come from South Dakota. He had worked for Valentine Elevator, Mentone, for<br />

many years and also for Manwarig Leghorn Farms, Mentone<br />

Survivig with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Bea) HUGHES, Mentone; and Mrs<br />

Dennis (Patti) GRUENEWALD, St Paul, Minn; one step-daughter, Mrs. Michael (Dixie)<br />

SUMME, Akron; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary CALLO, New<br />

York, N.Y.; and Anne GROHS, Mitchell, S.D.; and two brothers, Hugh J. WALSH, New York,<br />

N.Y.,, and Jack WALSH, Parkston, S.D. Preceding in death was one brother, Thomas WALSH.<br />

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev.<br />

Terry FISHER officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green. Friends<br />

may call from 2 to 8 p.m Wedesday at the funeral home.<br />

Andrew S. Leabo<br />

June 16, 1930 - Feb. 4, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Andrew S. LEABO, 65, East 650 North, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 5:50 p.m. Sunday at St.<br />

Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend.<br />

He was born in Suttons Bay, Mich., to Peter and Gusti WEISLER LEABO.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Margo LEABO, Hammond; two sisters, Marjorie OSCAR<br />

and Delores MIKOWSKI, both of Suttons Bay, Mich.; and one brother, Pete LEABO, Suttons<br />

Bay, Mich.<br />

<strong>The</strong>re will be no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place, and burial will be in<br />

St. Michaels Cemetery, Suttons Bay, Mich. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens<br />

Research Hospital.
