Feb. 26, 1912 - July 19, 1998<br />

Glenn A. ZENTZ, 84, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 6:39 p.m. Friday at her residence.<br />

Born in Richland Township to Henry and Elsie McGRIFF SANDERS, she married<br />

Arthur H. ZENT on Nov. 5, 1931 on Lake Bruce; he survives. She was a homemaker and a<br />

member of the Walnut Township Club.<br />

Preceding her in death were one sister, Blanche OVERMYER, and one brother, Vernon<br />

SANDERS.<br />

‘ Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Marilyn CALHOUN and her husband,<br />

Don, <strong>Rochester</strong>; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Rev.<br />

Tony SCHNEIDERS officiating. Burial will be at the Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery,<br />

southeat of Argos. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and<br />

for one hour prior to services.<br />

Ennis T. Smith<br />

June 12, 1908 - July 19, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Ennis T. SMITH, 88, North Judson, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday at his residence.<br />

Born in North Judson to Ora E. and Eunice SMITH, he married Helen L. SMITH on Nov.<br />

11, 1941 in Rockville. She survives. He was a retired mechanic from the Indiana Department of<br />

Transportation, LaPorte District. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 92, the<br />

Masonic Lodge No. 438, and the North Judson United Methodist Church. He was an Army<br />

veteran.<br />

Surviving with his wife are two sons, David E. SMITH, Muncie, and Palmer J. SMITH,<br />

Knox; one sister, Lenora COOK, Winter Haven, Fla.; and two grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the North Judson United Methodist Church. Burial<br />

will be at Pioneer Cemetery, North Judson. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday with Masonic<br />

Lodge No. 438 services at 7:30 p.m.<br />

Joan K. Knight<br />

April 16, 1942 - July 18, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Joan K. ZARTMAN [KNIGHT], 54, Bay St. Louis, Mo., formerly of <strong>Fulton</strong>, died<br />

Thursday.<br />

Born in <strong>Rochester</strong> to Wayne and Ruth (STANLEY) ZARTMAN, she married Rev.<br />

Vernon R. KNIGHT in Jan. 1975. He survives. She operated a public accountant service in<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> until 1975. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Pines, Waveland, Miss.<br />

Preceding her in death was her father on Jan. 25, 1954.<br />

Surviving with her husband are her mother and step-father, Ruth and Hugh SMITH,<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong>; two daughteers, Valerie and Joy KNIGHT, Bay St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Jay KNIGHT,<br />

Bay St. Louis; one step-daughrtr, Brenda FLETCHER, Shelton, Neb.; two step-sons, Vernon R.<br />

KNIGHT Jr., Lincoln, Neb., and Bruce KNIGHT, New York; one brother, Mark ZARTMAN,<br />

Logansport; and four grandchildren.<br />

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. George V officiating. Burial<br />

will be at the <strong>Fulton</strong> Cemetery. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, <strong>Fulton</strong>, is in charge of<br />

arrangements.<br />

Memorials may be made to the Missions of the Lutheran Church of Missouri Synod.
