John Jack BARTOSIK, 71, Argos, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital of
Marshall County.
Born in Czechoslovakia to John and Anna BARTOSIK, he married Luz BARTOSIK in
1971 in Emhurst, Ill. She survives. He came to the U.S.A. at the age of 2 and was a resident of
the Argos community since 1980 having come from Bellwood, Ill. He was a roofer for Clark
Roofing Co., Bellwood, Ill., retiring in 1980. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving in World
War II.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Frank and Walter [BARTOSIK].
Surviving with his wife are seven daughters, Karen SAYLERS and her husband Terry
and Denise ROWE and her husband Marvin, both of Knox, Cathy CALHOUN and her husband
Brian, Plymouth, Lynn WOODWARD, Valparaiso, Chris WILKENS and her husband Jim,
Culver, Laura HUBERS and her husband John, Demotte, and Anna ROBBINS and her husband
Terry, Monterey; seventeen grandchildren; two sisters, Mary LICHWA, Lyons, Ill., and Anna
OTRESINA, Arkansas, and one brother, Milton BARTOSIK.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Rev.
Mahendra ANANDAPPA officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

July 26, 1903 - July 23, 1996
Lena M. IGO, 92, Winona Lake, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Village Retirement
Center, Winona Lake.
Born in Franklin Township, Kosciusko County to John and Lulu TIPTON TUCKER, she
married Ernest IGO Dec. 22, 1923. He preceded her in death. She lived in the Mentone area all of
her life and was a former school teacher and homemaker. She was a member of the Beaver Dam
United Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid, and a former member of Eastern Star.
Preceding her in death with her husband were two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Shirley SMALLEY and her husband Wayne, Beaver Dam
Lake; one son, Miles IGO and his wife Maxine, Melbourne,Fla.; seven grandchildren; and ten
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church,
Akron, with Rev. Evelyn TAYLOR CAIN officiating. Burial will be at Nichols Cemetery, Akron,
and visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
Memorials may be made to the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or
the American Cancer Society.

Lena M. IGO, 92, Winona Lake, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Village Retirement
Center, Winona Lake.
Visistaion hours have been extended. The new hours are from 3-8 p.m. Friday at King
Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beaver Dam United
Methodist Church, Akron, and burial will be at Nichols Cemetery, Akron.
