Janiece J. THOMPSON, 62, Argos and Lorida, Fla., died at noon Tuesday at Highland<br />

Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Fla.<br />

She was born in Monterey to William and LaVerne (SMITH) CRIST. Her father<br />

preceded her in death in 1966. She married Eldon A. THOMPSON June 15, 1968 in Macon, Ga.<br />

He survives.<br />

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Plymouth, the<br />

Argos American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Manitou Post Auxiliary, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Surviving with her husband are her mother, LaVerne CRIST, Plymouth; three daughters,<br />

Karen KALITA, Fort Wayne, Katrina BAILEY, Argos, Laura YOUNG, West Lafayette; one son,<br />

Roger THOMPSON, Morgan City, La.; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three<br />

sisters, Phyllis THADEN, Flushing, Mich., Donna GUY, Warsaw, Wilma ROSS, Hutchinson,<br />

Minn.<br />

She was preceded in death by one son, Dan SULLIVAN in 1966, and one greatgranddaughter,<br />

Courtney HIBNER.<br />

Services are 2 p.m Sunday at Grossman Funeral Home in Argos with the Rev. Douglas<br />

FRITZEL officiating. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth. Visitation is 3-8<br />

p.m Saturday and Sunday up to one hour before services.<br />

Eldon Houston KIRBY, 72, died Wednesday at the North Mississippi Medical Center in<br />

Tupelo, Miss.<br />

He married Candace KIRBY in 1971. She survives.<br />

He was a native of Wabash where he lived most of his life. He was retired from General<br />

Tire and Rubber Company after 35 years. He was a Tupelo resident for the last six years.<br />

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Marguette Ann GOUVAN, Wabash, Jean<br />

GREGORY and Sandy MEHRING, both of <strong>Rochester</strong>; two sons, Jack KIRBY and Mike KIRBY,<br />

both of Pontotoe, Miss.; ten grandchildren; one sister, Arline METZGER, Peru; two brothers,<br />

Everette KIRBY and James KIRBY, both of Wabash.<br />

He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha BOYER and two sons, Kenneth KIRBY<br />

and Wayne KIRBY.<br />

Graveside services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Cemetery near Tupelo with the Rev.<br />

Kerry NELSON officiating. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Saturday at McGrath-Rasberry Funeral Home<br />

in Tupelo.<br />

<strong>The</strong>lma KANOUSE, 85, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 2:35 a.m. today at the <strong>Rochester</strong> Health Care<br />

Center Nursing Home. Arrangements are pending at Foster & Good Funeral Home in <strong>Rochester</strong>.
