Sept. 23, 1943 - Feb. 12, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Carole LONG, 52, 930 Park St., <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 9:27 a.m. Monday at her residence.<br />

She was born in South Bend to Ray and Henrietta (RADECKI) LISENKO. She married<br />

Thomas D. LONG Dec. 23, 1975. He preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1991.<br />

She was an Avon representative and owned a beauty shop in South Bend. She was a<br />

member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in <strong>Rochester</strong>; the Altar and Rosary Society of the<br />

Church; and was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.<br />

Surviving are [her parents], two sons, Kristopher LONG, <strong>Rochester</strong> and Bruce BORLIK,<br />

Mishawaka; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Janice BARNES, <strong>Rochester</strong> and Lori<br />

CHIDDISTER, South Bend.<br />

Preceding in death were her husband and one brother, Terry LISENKO<br />

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John<br />

ZAHN officiating Cremation [will take place followig funeral services]. Friends may call from 2-<br />

4 p.m and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Zimmerman Family Funeral Home. Vigil services will be at<br />

7:30 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home.<br />

Memorials may be left to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the South Bend Humane<br />

Society.<br />

Feb. 5, 1927 - Feb. 12, <strong>1996</strong><br />

Frances Jolane FUTRELL, 69, Porterville, Calif., died there Monday at Sierra View<br />

District Hospital.<br />

She was born in Indiana and lived in Marion before moving to California five years ago.<br />

She was a retail clerk and worked for Gottschalks Retail Store, Marion. She was a former member<br />

of the Eastern Star of Indiana.<br />

Survivig are her husband, Albert B FUTRELL, Portervile, Calif; one son, Jim<br />

[FUTRELL], Bakersfield; three brothers, Arthur HARPER, Mearle HARPER and George<br />

HARPER, all of <strong>Rochester</strong>; one sister, Jeri SHEER, Fort Wayne; four gandchildren and nieces and<br />

nephews.<br />

A committal service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery,<br />

Huntington <strong>County</strong>, with the Rev. Preston THEALL officiating. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m.<br />

Thursday at Raven Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion.
