Carole LONG, 52, 930 Park St., Rochester, died at 9:27 a.m. Monday at her residence.
She was born in South Bend to Ray and Henrietta (RADECKI) LISENKO. She married
Thomas D. LONG Dec. 23, 1975. He preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1991.
She was an Avon representative and owned a beauty shop in South Bend. She was a
member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rochester; the Altar and Rosary Society of the
Church; and was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Surviving are [her parents], two sons, Kristopher LONG, Rochester and Bruce BORLIK,
Mishawaka; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Janice BARNES, Rochester and Lori
CHIDDISTER, South Bend.
Preceding in death were her husband and one brother, Terry LISENKO
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John
ZAHN officiating Cremation [will take place followig funeral services]. Friends may call from 2-
4 p.m and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Zimmerman Family Funeral Home. Vigil services will be at
7:30 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be left to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the South Bend Humane
Society.

Frances J. Futrell
Feb. 5, 1927 - Feb. 12, 1996
Frances Jolane FUTRELL, 69, Porterville, Calif., died there Monday at Sierra View
District Hospital.
She was born in Indiana and lived in Marion before moving to California five years ago.
She was a retail clerk and worked for Gottschalks Retail Store, Marion. She was a former member
of the Eastern Star of Indiana.
Survivig are her husband, Albert B FUTRELL, Portervile, Calif; one son, Jim
[FUTRELL], Bakersfield; three brothers, Arthur HARPER, Mearle HARPER and George
HARPER, all of Rochester; one sister, Jeri SHEER, Fort Wayne; four gandchildren and nieces and
nephews.
A committal service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery,
Huntington County, with the Rev. Preston THEALL officiating. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m.
Thursday at Raven Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion.
