Summary We are concerned about the proposed development of Esgyryn Site mainly because of the possible effect on the wild life.
There are mature oaks and hedges supporting a varied population of insects and birds. Also there are several bats to be seen feeding on insects flying above
the hedges at certain times of the year. Winter visitors on the fields are Redwings and Fieldfares.
Surely a better use of this greenfield land would be for food production.
Change Sought: Remove the employment allocation at Esgyryn site.

Summary I object to the proposed devlopment of the Esgyryn site.
I purchased my house for the uninterupted views of the countryside knowing that the government has a policy of not developing greenfield sites.
I feel that the development will have a very negative effect on the enjoyment I get from my garden and will have a significant negative impact on the current
value of my home.
The idea of bulldozing some of our most precious agricultural land to erect a mixed housing, business area and eyesore is environmental vandalism.

Summary We object on the following grounds:
Pendyffryn is heavily congested already with cars parked bumper to bumper.
There are many empty and unsold properties up here.
Loss of green environment.
We all want to protect and enjoy the natural beauty.
Extra housing will put a greater strain on road safety.
The gren spaces are rapidly being depleted.

Summary I object on the following grounds:
This is an area of outstanding beauty and habitat for wildlife.
There has already been two large developments built recently.
There is employment land opposite the Welsh Assembly buildings and a large industrial estate on the outskirts of Mochdre that is largely un-occupied.

Summary I object as follows:
Contrary to PPW 9.2.9. This greenfield site should not be selected when alternative policies could be used at the Former Hotpoint site to achieve the required
jobs growth.
In terms of sustainability, the site is not accessible to key services.
Pressure from WAG to include Esgyryn to reaslise a premium capital receipt.
Significant housing growth already disporportionate for a community of this size.
Severe environmental and landscape impact concerns.
I support the goal in the LDP of reducing out-commuting/out-migration.
Change Sought: Withdrawal of site for development in tandem with a tightening of policy for the former Hotpoint factory to ensure a minimum of 300 jobs per hectare. Redraw
settlement boundary to exclude site.
Failing that, identify site only as a contingency for high value prestigious employment, subject to completion of a thorough Landsacpe Quality Assessment.

Summary RIFW own land within the proposed Esgyryn allocation, and are willing to bring the site forward for development either in isolation or as part of a
comprehensive scheme. The RIFW land is delieverable and capable of accommodating housing. In our view the proposals map is unclear as it appears as
an "Empolyment Allocation" as opposed to a Mixed use allocation.
Change Sought: The proposals map should be revised to include a Mixed use allocation

Summary I object as follows:
This is the last bit of open countryside that is easy to access from residential areas.
We are going to need this land in the future for producing food so we don't have to import so much from the other side of the world.
There is already plenty of development.
These houses would not be for local people, local people need jobs.
You should use the old Hotpoint factory for more quality jobs and not just car showrooms.
You cannot continue to take more countryside - where will it end?

There is very little greenfield land left in this area, development would have a huge impact on the environment e.g. loss of hedgerows, wildlife and flora.
A build up of traffic/noise on unsuitable roads i.e. Narrow Lane.
There seems to be enough housing developments at present. More housing doesn't necessarily create jobs.
Why create more industrial units when there are areas that remain empty i.e. The old Hotpoint site.
More brownfield sites should be used for industry and greenfield land should be left for the community to enjoy.
