The land is part of the green separation zone between developments in the area.
This has become so much more precious since the considerable over development.
Considerable additional traffic now generated on Marl Lane and the difficult road junction access from Marl Lane onto Pentywyn Road.
Finally, the land represents a last attachment to farming in the area.
Takes no account of the already high levels of unemployment in the area and the lack of additional employment opportunities available.

2. If more houses are built surely another primary school will be required due to the increase in numbers of children coming into the area.

I am writing to object to the above being included in the reserve list for the following reasons:
1 This land is part of the separation zone between communities - the Green Wedge.
2 Existing over-development in the area.
3 Severe traffic implications for Marl Lane and adjacent roads. Problems are already being encountered.
4 Possible implications regarding the protection of historic landscapes.
5 This land is agricultural land in current use for both grazing and arable purposes.

The fields in question are part of a working farm and is valuable grazing land and vitally important agricultural land.
A great deal of overdevelopment has already taken place causing problems with access and traffic.
The fields have been subject to flooding in heavy rain.
There has to be a limit to the amount of houses that can be built in one area and green fields are essential to our quality of life.

Overdevelopment of the Marl Ward, I feel we have already contributed land to meet the local housing needs in the area.
Green spaces are an essential quality of life and seem to be rapidly disappearing in our ward.
