Summary The Town Council object on the grounds that we do not wish to see any further reduction of the green wedge area:
1. The site forms part of the green wedge and creates a precedent for future development of the other fields in the area.
2. There are concerns about surface water drainage in the area.
3. Developing the site would extend the urban area of Llandudno and lead to the potential loss of the distinct character of Llanrhos.
4. There are sufficient brown field sites already included in the LDP that are more suitable for this kind of development.

Summary We object as follows:
1. The site is on the most important and sensitive approach to town. Business or industrial activity would be both intrusive and inappropriate.
2. Access to the site would be problematic as the only approach would have to be off either of the two very busy main roads.
3. Its proximity to private housing would be very intrusive.
4. The loss of farming land would reduce the viability of the farm which supports three families.

Summary This parcel of land provides part of an open green space, currently attractive farmland, between the communities of Llandudno and Llanrhos acting as a
green wedge between them and preventing the merger of the two into an unattractive contiguous urban development.
Llandudno is an economically important tourist destination and its visual appeal, including that of its approaches, is a vital part of that attraction.
I am not aware that the local community has been consulted.
Change Sought: Delete this land from the Revised Deposit LDP as a site for any form of development.
