Summary I object to the identification in principle as opportunities for housing sites 58, 329 <strong>and</strong> 330, using prime farml<strong>and</strong>/recreational l<strong>and</strong> for c30 houses either as<br />

windfall sites or as rural exception sites.<br />

Raising the pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> these sites, whilst keeping them under the radar, flags to developers the willingness <strong>of</strong> CC to develop them.<br />

These sites are L<strong>and</strong>scape Conservation Areas in the Gwynedd Structure Plan, Green Barriers in Conwy UDP <strong>and</strong> represent development outside the<br />

settlement area. They are prime agricultural l<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> constitute a loss <strong>of</strong> existing greenfield l<strong>and</strong>.<br />

There is no evidence <strong>of</strong> housing need in this settlement.<br />

Change Sought: Delete sites 58, 329 <strong>and</strong> 330.<br />

Summary In order to meeet a more realistic housing target for the settlement <strong>of</strong> Abergele including Town <strong>and</strong> Kinmel Bay the l<strong>and</strong> identilfied on the attached plan should<br />

be allocated for residential use with provision for a link road linking allocated sites to the north <strong>and</strong> south west.<br />

It will assist in addressing the affordable housing requirement <strong>and</strong> will enable the provision <strong>of</strong> infrastrucutre that is necessary to meet the highways<br />

requirements <strong>of</strong> the sites allocated within the plan.<br />

The site will assist in matching housing <strong>and</strong> employment l<strong>and</strong> provision.<br />

Change Sought: Allocate the site on the attached plan for housing.<br />
