13730 Mrs Gwyneth Taylor [4002] 1 Object
Summary Too much overdevlopment in Llysfaen over the last 30 years
Further development will destroy the village status
Filling in the open spaces around Listed Buildngs at the heart of the vilalge will destroy the character of the village
Narrow roads and few footpaths, already dangerous and congested
Quarry causes structural damage from blasting
Change Sought: Deletion of Site.
13638 Mrs Edna Harrison [3953] 1 Object
Summary The school is too small for any more intake. There is no access for cars and gradient will create problems.
I consider that Llysfaen can not have any more houses built and remain a village.
Change Sought: Delete site.
17635 Prof & Dr Del & Ann Williams & Parry-Williams [4498] 1 Object
Summary The proposed allocation does not comply with the strategy of the plan, which seeks to provide 85% of future development in the UDS Area. The scale of
development in this Tier 1 village is contrary to that strategy.
It does not satisfy the council's sequential assessment. This is a greenfield site outside the confines of the existing settlement. the identified capacity of the
stie will result in a density of development which is unrealistic and would provide a form and type of development inappropriate and out of context.
There are significant identifiable problems relating to access, resulting in increased danger.
Change Sought: Delete site
13601 Mr Paul Whittaker [3937] 1 Object
Summary Totally unsuitable access adjacent to school.
No footpath access between historic centre of village and proposed allocation.
No footpath connection
School full up at present with portacabins in playground
Road unsuitable outside school due to parking immediately before 9 a.m and after 3.00 p.m. weekdays
Proportion of intended development of Tier 1 village re overall housing allocation with limited infrastructure for more school places
Greenfield site outside existing settlement
Change Sought: Delete site
14394 Ms Eleanor Carpenter [4426] 1 Object
Summary I object on the following grounds:
1. Settlement growth
2. Access
3. Ownership.
The village has already taken substantial amounts of housing growth in recent years and the proposed allocation plus commitments will achieve an
unsustainable and inapproporate growth rate for a main village.
Change Sought: Delete site.
