The existing road network is already udner pressure from existing residents and could not cope with extra usage from more houses being built.
Pentregwyddel Road is too narrow for extra volume of traffic.
The poposed site would have a huge impact on the historic centre of the village resulting in the character of the village being lost.
Finally Llysfaen already has its share of affordable housing and other sites throughout the County should be sought.

Summary We are concerned that the draft framework has identified land to the south of the buffer zone as suitable for housing.
Whilst this land lies outside the buffer zone and would not experience blast vibration in excess of that stipulated by the planning permissions relating to the
operation of Raynes Quarry it is possible that the occupants of dwellings may perceive vibration resulting from quarry operations. This in turn may result in
complaints being made to the MPA with regard to the quarry's operations despite operations being fully compliant with planning requirements.
Change Sought: Remove the housing allocation at Ysgol Cynfran, Llysfaen.

Summary This site is too close to the school, access will be difficult and will pose a danger to children travelling to and from school.
Road links to the village are poor.
There are parking problems.
This site will be accessed from a narrow road following a blind bend posing a further danger to pedestrians and road users.
Inadequate facilities in village to cope with more residents.
The village is losing it's character and becoming an urban sprall.
Further loss of green spaces makes us all poorer.
Change Sought: No further housing development in Llysfaen, we have had enough. New housing does not meet local need it just encourages migration from other areas. We
can't just keep buliding until not an acre of green land is left, the population increase needs to be addressed through immigration control and changes the
benefit system in the UK.

adjacent to school where the lane is narrow with a hazardous bend, very dangerous. Allocation amounts to over development of village which has a limited
infrastructure and narrow roads.

Summary The proposed development would mean a huge increase of private and utility vehicles. Llysfaen is a village and was not designed to accommodate
substantial amounts of increased traffic and cater in particular for heavy utility vehicles. The current school site access is on a blind, narrow bend and it would
be highly dangerous to increase traffic flow here. it is unclear from the LDP site plan exactly where access to this site would be. New housing developments
will increase the use of Mynydd Marian, the local nature reserve, which already has damage from the local population usage.

Site to be deleted from the proposed LDP.
