It is close to a working quarry - the roads are narrow especially access to site <strong>of</strong> Pentre Gwyddern. The infrastructure is inadequate, <strong>and</strong> planning was<br />

rejected in 1997 at appeal on planning grounds. Loss <strong>of</strong> open space between the historic buildings in the centre <strong>of</strong> the village. This is also a green field site<br />

outside the existing settlement.<br />
