Summary I strongly oppose the Plan's proposal to allocate Green Wedge prime farmland for housing thus creating a precedent for future development contrary to the
Appeal Inspector's stated conclusions in 1988 and the Planning Director's report in May 2006.
My objection could be withdrawn if the housing site was deleted from the plan and the whole fields remained a Green Wedge for all future time.
Bodafon Fields are essential in their present format for both the residents of Llandudno and for visiting tourists who are vital to the economy of the area.

Summary Has thought been given to the impact of 65 dwelling on sewage, water, electricity, telephone, gas and traffic-all of these will have a great impact on an already
overloaded infrastructure.
The visual impact will be horrendous as well as increasing the risk of accidents and the disruption of a consolidated farm and the loss of one of the best "first
views" of Llandudno.

Summary I am requesting that the following areas are kept within the local development plan as rural open space areas free from development:
1. Bodafon Fields, Llandudno
2. Nant y Glyn Valley, Colwyn Bay
3. Golf course and fields off Glan Y Mor Raod, main Llandudno Road and Glanwydden between Rhos on Sea and Penrhyn Bay.
I understand there is a need to preserve these sites to protect the character of the coastal area of Conwy county and to create breaks between town
developments.

Summary I object to the development plans for Nant-y-Gamar Road for the following reasons:
The fields are prime land and are the only protected land in Llandudno
The building of 65 houses will increase the traffic enormously
The fields provide a beautiful green wedge and magnificent scentery for tousists
Already Mostyn Estates have started buildng a golf driving range, taking more land from the farm.

Summary I wish to object to the development of Bodafon Fields on the following grounds:
a: The fields are prime land site and protected land in Llandudno.
b: The building of 65 houses will increase traffic, already very heavy at school times.
c: Already there is development for the golf driving range, taking more land from the farm.
d: The fields provide a beautiful green wedge between Craigside and Craig-y-Don and a magnificent entry into Llandudno for the tourists.
I hope councillors will not approve this development.

Summary I object to the plan to build housing on prime farmland at Nant-y-Gamar Road.
This is green wedge and it was stated in 1988 and the Planning Director's report in 2006 that the authority would resist any housing on Bodafon Fields.
No consideration or consultation has been given to protect this high quality agricultural land from development.
The proposal is unsound and unsustainable. Parcels of land on the urban periphery should be re-examined especially land rejected in phase 1.
Please give this matter serious consideration and delete the proposal to build houses from the Plan.

Summary I strongly object to the housing proposal to build on Bodafon Fields.
Llandudno is a Victorian holiday resort not an urban overspill. Apart from traffic congestion, the Planninig Direcor's report states all housing on Bodafon
Fields would be resisted.
It is quality agricultural land and National Policy PPW28(1) protects such land.
Visitors come to Llandudno for its uniqueness not to see housing estates where cattle and sheep once grazed.
