Summary The housing and allotments allocation is totally inappropriate. Such developments would spoil the entrance to Dwygyfylchi as a gateway village to the
Snowdonia National Park and would be detrimental to the tourism function of the village, which is its main source of locally derived income. Building on this
land would obscure the view to the sea from the adjacent caravan and campsite and this would make it less attractive to visitors and so threaten its
sustainability as a viable tourist location and business. Less visitors would also threaten local businesses such as the post office, local shops and public
houses.
