SECTION FOUR - SPATIAL POLICIES, KEY DIAGRAMS AND SUPPORTING DEVELOPMENT CONTROL POLICIES
4.5.9 Allotments, Policy CFS/10 NEW ALLOTMENTS
Rep No Name
22544
Summary
Mr & Mrs Griffiths [5193]
We would like the following points clarified regarding the allocation of allotments at Princes Green, Penrhyn Bay:
There are currently trees on the boundary between our property and the Green, we would like to ensure these remain
We will need access to the boundary fence from the Green's side to manage our fences
People Type
1 Comme
Will the boundary fence be increased in height, as our property is set lower than the Green so we would like to avoid people looking down into our property
22437
Will you be able to confirm how close the allotments will be set to our boundary
Countryside Council for Wales (Mr Richard Ninnes) [1948] 1 Support
Summary CCW supports the policy in principle and considers it meets ToS C2.
13986 Ms Mary Halliwell [4115] 1 Support
Summary I am writing to protest against the propsoed new housing development on the gounds that:
a) It would be deterimental to the village. It would alter the character of the village. There would be a loss of amenities and an impact on social cohesion. The
value of existing properties would go down.
b) It is unnecessary. It has not been demonstrated that there is a need for more houses. There are several brownfield sites which could be used.
More appropriate use could be made of the land i.e. market garden. I would support the suggested idea of allotments.
13541 Cllr Gareth Roberts [3907] 1 Support
The local authority should be more even more proactive in assessing demand for allotments and should investigate further the provision of land suitable for
allotments in and around Llandudno.
