Summary It is considered that upon examining the Deposit Local Development Plan, insufficient<br />

dem<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> supply for Conwy. Accordingly it is considered that the plan is unsound <strong>and</strong><br />

does not meet the soundness test <strong>of</strong> CE2. Additional site suggested.<br />

Summary Redrow object to Policy EMP/2 - <strong>Site</strong> <strong>Allocation</strong> to Meet B1, B2 <strong>and</strong> B8 Employment Dem<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> Free Stock Levels, for the following reason:-<br />

1.Redrow object to the omission <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong> on the south east side <strong>of</strong> Abergele (refer to attached plan) for mixed use development, with potential to provided 14<br />

ha <strong>of</strong> high quality employment l<strong>and</strong> linked to the construction <strong>of</strong> the East Abergele By-Pass.<br />

Change Sought: The l<strong>and</strong> show on the attached plan should be allocated as a mixed use development area <strong>and</strong> development allowed to proceed in accordance with a<br />

development brief which will determine the precise form <strong>of</strong> the development, infrastructure requirements, phasing <strong>and</strong> the provision <strong>of</strong> community facilities.<br />
