Rep No Name People Type
13628 Miss Karen Thomas [3948] 1 Object
Summary We have had too many houses built in Llylsfaen already so are losing all the green areas. We are a village not a town. Our roads cannot handle all the extra
traffic these houses will cause. We don't have pavements on a lot of the roads in Llysfaen, in the winter the slightest bit of snow and the people who live here
already struggle on the roads. The land is the historic centre of the village, has listed buildings and does not need any new houses.
Summary I am opposed to any buildings on this site regarding ecological issues with evidence of badger foraging trails from rectory land and feeding area for bats.
This site is sensitive given setting of church which is a listed building.
13847 Mr David Boothroyd [4047] 1 Object
Summary Too near school - which would then struggle to cope with influx of pupils and would not be able to expand.
Hill too steep - privacy problem.
Road to narrow - no footpath on bad bend on Fforth y Llan
13797 Mr Gary Trow [4027] 1 Object
Narrow road, wtih no footpaths.
Loss of open space between historic building at the centre of the village.
Change Sought: Deletion of site
13645 Mrs Joan Partington [3956] 1 Object
Summary Our village is far too small for more houses to be built.
Local school is at present at capacity.
Local amenities are limited.
Public transport is already very poor.
Roads are already far too narrow to accommodate more traffic.
We want our village to stay a village not turn into a small town.
13802 Mr Arfon Edwards [4029] 1 Object
Summary Deletion of site.
13840 Mrs Julie Jones [4043] 1 Object
Summary Access to Dolwen Road very dangerous as road is not up to grade.
Building is not in keeping with historical buildings.
Will affect footpath to and from historical buildings at centre of village.
Taking greenfields.
Change Sought: Delete site.
13796 Mr Keith Norman [4026] 1 Object
Summary Already the area around the entrance to the school is dangerous for children and vehicles. Creating more houses creates more vehicles/people using the
road outside the school.
More development is contrary to development and strategy of the plan for this tier 1 village.
Limited infrastructure within the village.
Change Sought: Delete site.
13643 Mr Leonard Parry [3955] 1 Object
Summary Village has limited infrastructure and narrow roads.
Loss of open space between historic buildings at centre of village.
DLP is not sound with this site included.
Over development having regard to village facilities.
Site not suitable for development having regard to access and gradient.
Change Sought: Delete site.
13634 Mr Neil Thomas [3951] 1 Object
Summary We are losing all our green areas, we are a village not a town. Our roads cannot handle all the extra traffic, it is dangerous enough by the school and the road
is blocked. Also this is the historic centre of the village and has listed buildings it does not need new builds ruining it.
In the winter the slightest bit of snow and people struggle to get up and down. There are no pavements on some of the roads so extra traffic will cause more
danger.
Change Sought: Delete site.
13834 Mr Derek Rushton [4041] 1 Object
Summary This is a greenfield site and should not be built on. Local horse owners and farmer still use it for grazing. It will also ruin any privacy and peace and quiet;
which is why I bought the house; also reduction in value. The roads in Llysfaen throughout are not capable of taking much more traffic and also the proposed
access would be downright dangerous. The school is also past capacity already.
I am totally against this proposal.
Always paid by council tax and always will but will I be subsidising the new tennants?
