14032 Mr David Malcolm Walters [4144] 1 Object
Summary Deletion of site.
Roads surrounding proposed site are inadequate for increased traffic.
A new access/exit road to the site would have to cross a public footpath, regularly used by school children and the road would be close to the school.
No amenities i.e. mains drainage or gas etc.
Historically classed as village centre with the church and village hall at the heart.
Llysfaen has had more that its share of development and any additional building would ruin the feel of Llysfaen as a village.
Change Sought: Deletion of site
13959 Mrs Pam Foulkes [4103] 1 Object
Summary Deletion of Site.
17636 Prof & Dr Del & Ann Williams & Parry-Williams [4498] 1 Object
Summary The allocation does not comply with the strategy of the plan which seeks to provide 85% of future devlopment in the UDS area. The scale of development
proposed in this Tier 1 village is contrary to that strategy.
The allocation of this site will adversely impact on the historic core of Llysfaen and the setting of the Church, Church House and other listed structures. It is
also contrary to planning advice in National Planning Policy Wales.
There are significant other objections to the allocation of this site on the grounds of its physical character, highway constraints and nature conservation
interests.
Change Sought: Delete site
14020 Mrs Barbara Burns [4128] 1 Object
Summary Deletion of site.
Over development in the past 20 years. Poor local infrastructure ie. sewers, water, footpaths and roads. Much increased road traffic and parking, loss of
greenfield site between listed buildings (church) rectory & village centre.
Development proposed in Tier 1 village, contrary to plan strategy.
Change Sought: Deletion of site.
13648 Mr John Hodgson [3958] 1 Object
Summary I do not think you have thought about the closeness of the quarry, the blasting from the quarry is getting worse, there is already a fault on Gamar Road,
Some of the land around the village hall belongs to the village, and no-one from the village hall has said you purchased the land.
The upheaval these houses would cause when being built would cause much disruption to our village, wagons, dust, no proper roads. The children at the
school would suffer the most. The idea of any houses in Llysfaen should be forgotten. There are plenty of empty houses around.
Change Sought: Delete site.
14040 Mr Elfyn Davies [4146] 1 Object
Summary Village has narrow roads, especially near to old rectory and Pentregwyddel Road.
Site to near to Historic buidlings such as the Church, Church hall and old rectory. Llysfaen is still traditionaly a Welsh village and is not suitable for a large
influx of English speaking city dwellers, the Welsh language is very dear to us and must not be lost.
Change Sought: Deletion of site.
