Summary The plan in its present form is totally unreaslistic in relation to the infrastructure of Abergele, there can be no real evidence base that can lead to the view that
the small market town of Abergele can support the introduction of 800 plus homes.
It does not offer any clear solution to the issues of trafic congestion.
It adopts an overoptimistic view as to the jobs availability.
It does not take account of the already overstretched services in Health and Education.
It does not take account of the impact of Denbighshire's Plan to build 1700 homes in Bodelwyddan.

Traffic conjestion
Strain on infrastructure
All these points need to be taken very seriously indeed. Abergele does not need this LDP.

Summary I object to the allocation of 850 homes in the Abergele area:
No evidence to justify a housing need of this proportion.
The allocation of greenfield sites.
The balance will tilt in favour of excessive development.
Will be at the expense of local housing needs.
The already burgeoning infrastructure.
Economic development is patchy with an over reliance on seasonal tourism and low paid jobs.
The current level of council tax, policy precent and water charges are now extremely high in return for basic services. The additional houses will serve to
exacerbate this very difficult situation.
