Rep No Name
Summary
Sarah Brown [736]
Land off Derwen Lane
I consider that the proposed development would have an adverse effect on:
People Type
1 Object
a) residential amenity;
b) from the traffic generated in the region of two schools and increased traffic movement through Penrhynside;
c) on ecological and wildlife interests and landscape character. (I believe that the area is a nesting site for lapwings);
d) on the best and most versatile agricultural land. (The proposed development is on A1 agricultural land and the development would significantly affect the
livelihood of the tenant farmer);
e) on essential community facilities. (An increase in population would put pressure on the two schools, the local medical centre and recreational facilities.
Change Sought: Remove land off Derwen Lane from plan.
445 Mr Geoffrey Taylor [743] 1 Object
Summary I consider the proposal will have an adverse effect on firstly residential amenity, from traffic generated in the area of both Ysgol Y Creuddyn and Ysgol
Glanwydden and increased traffic through Penrhynside. Secondly the loss of A1 agricultural land. Thirdly on the environment due to the proximity of a working
dairy farm and the loss of habitat for nesting lapwings
Change Sought: Area to be remain green wedge
467 Mrs Linda Jackson [757] 1 Object
Summary I consider this proposed development would have an adverse effect on the residential amenities.
This site would increase the population at the schools and create a big traffic problem.
We should be looking after the farmers that are left not taking away their farms, this farm having A1 agricultural land.
The medical centre already has had to reduce time given to patients visits as they are too busy.
This development would put pressure on the two schools and medical centre.
