Summary I strongly object to the inclusion of this land as a contingency site.
The land should remain an important green wedge and discrete boundary between Craig y Don and Craigside.
Traffic congestion would increase to an unacceptable level.
The viability of the exisiting farm has not been tested in accordance with TAN6W.
The farmland is of sufficiently high quality to be protected from development.
Local community has not been consulted.
Change Sought: Withdraw this site from the Revised Deposit LDP.

Summary I object as follows:
Traffic congestion from Gogarth School and the mental health centre.
The area is widely used for tourism with touring caravans, event field, a Golf Range, Rare breed Farm, the whole area is classed as prime agricultural land.
The area cannot cope with any more housing because the schools in the immediate area are full to capacity and the doctor's surgery is also struggling to
cope.
A site close to 153 Queens Road (near the Queens Road Roundabout) would, in my opinion, offer better value with less of an impact.
Change Sought: If your Planning Dept is insistent on creating a site for contingence housing in the Craig-y-Don area then a site close to 153 Queens Road (near the Queens
Road Roundabout) would, in my opinion, offer better value with less of an impact, has no agricultural land value and is easily accessible, no traffic problems
and with services, drainage etc already nearby.
