Policy HOU/1 Meeting The Housing Needs, North of Groesffordd, Dwygyfylchi
Rep No Name People Type
1616 Beech Developments (NW) Ltd (Mr Mike Roberts) [1966] 1 Support
Summary Support the allocation but for a higher density that complies with national guidance.
Mrs Carys Jones [31]
1 Object
Summary There is no additional housing needed in the Dwygyfylchi area. At this present time there are over 100 properties in a five mile radius available for sale
approxiamtley 40% of these are targeted as affordable housing. According to your LDP the Dwygyfylchi area needs one house to meet the affordable housing
need. Why then is there a proposol to build 10 on the only available green space in our beautiful village. The local inferstucture can not deal with more
houses the local school is already almost to full capacity.
Change Sought: Dwygyfylchi removed from the development of more housing
323 mr peter jobson [616] 1 Object
Summary i would just like to log my objection to the building of more houses on one of the only fields left for children in the village left to play on,also the fact there are
as we have been told over 100 properties currently on the market in this area yet no need for more unfordable housing to be built a the cost of more of the
village green space.
Change Sought: no houses to be built on fields
Ms Jan Roberts [651]
1 Object
Summary I totally object to the development North of Groesffordd. Obviously no thought or consideration for the people of Dwygyfylchi has gone into this proposal.
Where do you expect the children to play safely as this is the only playing area in the village?
Increased volume of traffic through the small village - additional danger for children and the elderley.
Additional stretch on resources and facilities.
Change Sought: I propose you consider the location of the build i.e llandudno as that's where our rates are spent.
349 Mr & Mrs Ian & Rosemary Boulton [653] 1 Object
Summary I am objecting to the plan for more houses in Dwygyfylchi. North of Groesfford. I do not think we need any more houses in the village. The land in question
borders the field where the children play and would isolate the football field from the majority of houses in the village.
We NEED green spaces.
Change Sought: NO HOUSE BUILDING
385 Penmaenmawr Town Council (Cllr Dafydd Lloyd-Borland) [682] 1 Object
Summary In respect of the large housing allocation in Dwygyfylchi the Town Council strongly object to this on the grounds of overdevelopment of the village. Should
this site be developed the existing facilities within the town would be put under considerable strain. The existing school may not be able to accommodate
extra pupils. This allocation should be removed or significantly reduced.
Change Sought: Removal of housing development north of Groesffordd, Dwygyfylchi from plan
324
Mr Andrew Stafford [617]
1 Object
Summary Dwygyfylchi can not support development of the area proposed, there is very little green land left in the area, the Gardd Eryri development should never have
been commissioned, this site too is not needed or wanted in the village.
Change Sought: Cancellation and protection of the area to prevent future development proposals
297
neil woods (neil woods) [571]
1 Object
Summary The area for these houses to built upon should remain as it is, common land for the children to enjoy and responsible dog owners to walk there pets.
I as a child have loads of memories playing on that piece of land. It was one of the few places where most parents in Dwygyfylchi feel safe for there children
to play, as so many properties overlook this piece of land, it is easy to spot any strangers or something that should not be happening.
There are dozens of properties allready on the market, no need for further development.
Change Sought: If further development, then why not choose the other piece of land on the opposite side of Maes Y LLan, granted there will be objections to this, but surely
that land is more sustainable.
7151 O Jones and Sons Ltd [2090]
1 Object
Summary Revision of housing strategy to option 3 levels of growth, in order to take account of economic and age structure priorities and deliver affordable housing
requirements. Adopt a higher expected housing yield for the site at Groess Ffordd, Dwygyfylchi (39-46 dwellings).
Change to growth option 3. Adopt a higher expected housing yield for the site at Groess Ffordd, Dwygyfylchi (39-46 dwellings)
Change Sought: Change to growth option 3. Adopt a higher expected housing yield for the site at Groess Ffordd, Dwygyfylchi (39-46 dwellings)
