Summary We wish to register our complaint in the matter of the proposed new ring road for Abergele the proposed building of 220 mixed uses housing the proposed
new 90 houses and the Gypsy/Traveller transit site.
The only reason Abergele has a traffic congestion problem is because Abergele Town Council and or Conwy County Borough Council gave Planning
permission for Tesco to build their supermarket which then in turn gave us a roundabout a pedestrian crossing, traffic lights (Abergele I'm sure must have the
Guinness book of records for the largest amount of traffic controls in a small town.)
The Doctors Surgery, the schools and Dental Surgeries in Abergele will not be able to sustain such a large number of extra residents.
The best way of curing the traffic congestion in Abergele is to get rid of the Traffic lights.
This proposed new road will not serve to ease any of the towns congestion it will only serve the proposed new house owners and the Gypsy's. Of course the
builders will make a nice tidy profit so will the landowners and the Council will have imposed new houses on the Town which Abergele residents do not want.

Summary Site 78.
In addition to its objection to the scale of housing growth proposed, the Town Council objects to the allocation of greenfield sites 78, 81 and 82 for housing in
the deposit LDP. The allocation of such extensive areas of open countryside on the fringe of Abergele will absorb housing need which should otherwise be
directed to brownfield sites.
There is insufficient evidence within the LDP or its associated Background Papers to demonstrate that a comprehensive assessment of the scope for housing
development on Previously Developed Land has been carried out.
