• If the individual contacts the EW and states<br />

he/she is still unemployable, the individual is<br />

referred to the contracted medical provider using<br />

the LEADER generated ABP 1676.<br />

• The out <strong>of</strong> drawer ABP 1676P may be used for<br />

individuals under treatment <strong>of</strong> a<br />

County/GRHCP/VA physician who wish to have<br />

that physician conduct the employability<br />

screening and provide the verification.<br />

• Individuals, who fail to provide the statement from<br />

the County/GRHCP/VA physician or keep the<br />

employability screening appointment, are<br />

terminated for non-compliance even if the<br />

current medical on file has not yet expired.<br />

GR 41-305.1 NSA Cases<br />

Does an NSA individual need an employability<br />

screening appointment?<br />

No, an employability screening appointment is not<br />

required for NSA individuals; however, policy for<br />

NSA individuals must be followed.<br />

(NSA) for details on NSA.<br />

Cases<br />

Can GROW refer individuals for an employability<br />

screening?<br />

Yes, individuals are also referred for screening when<br />

the GROW Case Manager sends the out <strong>of</strong> drawer<br />

ABP 296 to the Worker indicating that a referral for<br />

an employability screening is needed.<br />

Screening Results<br />

After the individual is referred to the contracted<br />

medical provider (using ABP 1676), how is the<br />

information updated to LEADER?<br />

After the contracted medical provider completes the<br />

employability screening, the contractor is responsible<br />

for entering the results <strong>of</strong> the screening into<br />

LEADER:<br />

• Employable,
