When the individual receives a denial notice and<br />

wishes to complain about the denial <strong>of</strong> the<br />

application, the individual is referred to the Denial<br />

Complaint Liaison in the district.<br />

The Denial Complaint Liaison is a designated ES<br />

who has the authority to waive a denial/penalty<br />

action.<br />

If the complaint cannot be resolved with the Denial<br />

Complaint Liaison, the individual is advised <strong>of</strong> the<br />

required review described in the previous question.<br />

How are inquiries from law enforcement<br />

agencies handled?<br />

The responsibility for releasing information to law<br />

enforcement agencies is held exclusively by the<br />

Government Inquiry and Response Section. The<br />

DDD refers representatives from law enforcement<br />

agencies requesting such information to the<br />

Government Inquiry and Response Section.<br />

What is the responsibility <strong>of</strong> individuals<br />

applying for or receiving GR?<br />

Individuals and spouses, excluding marital-like<br />

situations, or minor children are not eligible for GR if<br />

they refuse/fail to:<br />

Provide or disclose information which is<br />

pertinent to establishing initial or continued<br />

eligibility.<br />

Give consent to have the necessary<br />

investigation made in order to establish initial or<br />

continued eligibility,<br />

Complete appropriate application/annual<br />

agreement forms,<br />

Report any change in income, property,<br />

household composition, address, or other facts<br />

that affect initial or continued eligibility, or<br />

Complete and return the QR 7, Quarterly<br />

Eligibility Report.
