The individual/representative is questioned to<br />

determine whether he/she wishes to provide any<br />

witnesses or question any facts presented by the<br />

Individuals/representatives are questioned to<br />

determine whether they wish to present any<br />

pertinent facts/arguments that should be<br />

considered in the hearing process.<br />

Notes are taken on the entire process.<br />

Upon completion <strong>of</strong> the hearing, the Hearing<br />

Officer:<br />

‣ Informs the individual <strong>of</strong> the decision, if<br />

possible.<br />

‣ Completes the ABP 1768, indicating the<br />

outcome <strong>of</strong> the hearing. See GR 44-408<br />

below for additional information <strong>of</strong> the ABP<br />

1768.<br />

‣ Records the results <strong>of</strong> the hearing on<br />

LEADER in the hearing section and in Case<br />

Comments.<br />

Refer to GR Hearings for LEADER<br />

instructions on recording hearing results.<br />

Returns the ABP 1768 and the case record to the<br />

Worker for processing.<br />

Yes, a good cause determination must be made by<br />

the Hearing Officer before aid is terminated or<br />

sanction applied for failure or refusal to comply with<br />

the employable/MSARP requirements when an<br />

individual appears at the hearing or any time during<br />

extended suspend.<br />
