What are the reporting responsibilities?<br />

Individuals are required to report, in a timely<br />

manner (within five calendar days <strong>of</strong> the<br />

occurrence), information that may affect their<br />

eligibility or grant determination.<br />

From or Quit a Job<br />

Are individuals who are fired from or quit a job<br />

within 60 days before application eligible for<br />

GR?<br />

No, an employable individual, (including the<br />

individual’s legal spouse and minor children) who is<br />

fired from or quits a job or Workforce Investment<br />

Act (WIA) activity within 60 consecutive calendar<br />

days before GR application is not eligible unless<br />

good cause exists.<br />

When there is no good cause, the individual is<br />

ineligible and a 0-day penalty is imposed for the first
