Individual Moves to a<br />

B&C Facility<br />

When does the B&C rate begin if an approved<br />

individual moves into a B&C facility?<br />

When an individual on an approved case enters a<br />

B&C facility:<br />

• The prorated B&C rate may be paid to the facility<br />

effective the date <strong>of</strong> entry.<br />

• This may result in a collectible administrative<br />

overpayment <strong>of</strong> regular GR aid to the individual.<br />

Refer to GR 45-113 for details on overpayments.<br />

• The personal, incidental, and clothing allowance<br />

is budgeted effective the first <strong>of</strong> the following<br />

month.<br />

GR 45-109.2 Moving out<br />

<strong>of</strong> a B&C Facility<br />

When does the B&C rate stop when an individual<br />

moves out <strong>of</strong> a B&C facility?<br />

When an individual moves out <strong>of</strong> a B&C facility:<br />

• The termination <strong>of</strong> B&C payment is effective the<br />

last day the individual slept at the B&C facility.<br />

• If the individual returns to regular GR, the<br />

individual is issued a prorated GR grant for the<br />

remaining number <strong>of</strong> days in the month minus the<br />

personal, incidental, and clothing allowance<br />

already issued. This issuance is computed by<br />

the Worker.<br />

• GR is terminated automatically by LEADER, if the<br />

individual is ineligible or no longer wants GR.<br />

EXAMPLE:<br />

An individual leaves a B&C facility on April 21 and<br />

returns to regular GR; the B&C payment to the<br />

facility is stopped effective April 20 (the last day the<br />

individual slept at the facility). The individual is
