by LEADER and sent to the vendor when R&B is<br />

approved as a vendor payment.<br />

How much is the R&B payment?<br />

The R&B payment consists <strong>of</strong> the current maximum<br />

$208 plus $20 (personal and incidental needs <strong>of</strong> $11<br />

and clothing allowance <strong>of</strong> $9).<br />

How is the R&B payment issued?<br />

In most cases, R&B is issued to the individual;<br />

however, if the case is money management, the<br />

current R&B payment <strong>of</strong> $208 is made via vendor<br />

payment to the facility. The $20 (personal and<br />

incidental needs and clothing) is issued to the<br />

individual.<br />

What is dormitory living?<br />

In order for a facility to be classified as a dormitory<br />

facility, it must:<br />

• Have a business license.<br />

• Pay all household upkeep expenses.<br />

• Have ten or more beds located in a dormitorystyle<br />

sleeping area.<br />

• Provide household cleaning and linen service.<br />

What if the dormitory provider is a relative?<br />

Only regular shared housing is budgeted.<br />

Refer to GR 44-208 for details on shared housing.<br />

GR 44-213.2 Food<br />

Is the dormitory facility required to provide food?<br />

No, the dormitory facility is not required to provide<br />

food. The individual is responsible for meeting food<br />

needs with the food allowance in the GR grant. The<br />

individual may also be eligible for Food Stamps.
