MANAGEMENT STUDIES PROJECT PRIZE<br />

Grace 2 <strong>of</strong> 24 March 2010<br />

1. Of <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> £5,000 given to <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> by Mr Neil Thomason, <strong>of</strong> St John’s College, <strong>the</strong><br />

capital and <strong>the</strong> income shall be used to provide an annual Prize to be shared equally between members<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> three-person project team that delivers <strong>the</strong> best project presentation as part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Management<br />

Studies Tripos.<br />

2. The value <strong>of</strong> each Prize shall be such sum as shall be determined by <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong><br />

Business and Management within a range approved from time to time by <strong>the</strong> Council.<br />

3. The Prize shall be awarded by <strong>the</strong> Programme Director for <strong>the</strong> Management Studies Tripos to<br />

<strong>the</strong> team <strong>of</strong> three students that delivers <strong>the</strong> best project presentation, as measured by client.<br />

4. If in any year <strong>the</strong> Prize is not awarded, <strong>the</strong> income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund for that year shall be added to<br />

<strong>the</strong> capital <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund.<br />

ELIZABETH MANN FUND<br />

1. The sum received from <strong>the</strong> <strong>Cambridge</strong> <strong>University</strong> Fund for <strong>the</strong> Prevention <strong>of</strong> Disease (CAMPOD),<br />

representing a bequest to CAMPOD by Miss Elizabeth Hilary Frances Mann, M.A., <strong>of</strong> Girton College,<br />

shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> Elizabeth Mann Fund.<br />

2. The Managers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be <strong>the</strong> CAMPOD Committee for <strong>the</strong> time being. The income <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Fund shall be available at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Managers to support research in <strong>the</strong> Department <strong>of</strong><br />

Pathology in fur<strong>the</strong>rance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> understanding and prevention <strong>of</strong> disease.<br />

3. The Managers shall invite applications from <strong>the</strong> Heads <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> various Divisions within <strong>the</strong><br />

Department <strong>of</strong> Pathology at such times and in such manner as <strong>the</strong>y think fit.<br />

4. Any unexpended income at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> a financial year may be accumulated for use as income in<br />

a subsequent year.<br />

1. The appointment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Preacher shall be announced in <strong>the</strong> Lent Term <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> academical year<br />

next preceding <strong>the</strong> year in which <strong>the</strong> sermon is to be preached. The Preacher so appointed shall hold<br />

<strong>of</strong>fice until <strong>the</strong> first day <strong>of</strong> May in <strong>the</strong> year following his or her appointment.<br />

2. Any member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Senate shall be capable <strong>of</strong> being appointed.<br />

3. The Preacher shall preach a sermon in <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> Church at <strong>the</strong> Commemoration <strong>of</strong><br />

Benefactors.<br />

JOHN MARKS AND MULBERRY TRUST FUND<br />

Grace 2 <strong>of</strong> 13 June 2012<br />

1. The sum <strong>of</strong> £1m received from <strong>the</strong> charity formed and funded by John and Morwenna Marks<br />

and known as <strong>the</strong> Mulberry Trust, to support teaching and research in Christian Theology and to<br />

support <strong>the</strong> Regius Pr<strong>of</strong>essorship <strong>of</strong> Divinity, toge<strong>the</strong>r with o<strong>the</strong>r funds allocated for <strong>the</strong> same purpose<br />

out <strong>of</strong> a donation to <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> from Trinity College, shall form a permanent endowment fund<br />

called <strong>the</strong> John Marks and Mulberry Trust Fund.<br />

2. The first charge on <strong>the</strong> income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be <strong>the</strong> stipend, national insurance, pension<br />

contributions, and associated indirect costs <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Regius Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Divinity payable by <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong>,<br />

provided that <strong>the</strong> work <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essor at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> her or his election to <strong>the</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essorship is in <strong>the</strong><br />

field <strong>of</strong> Christian Theology.<br />

3. The Fund shall be administered by four Managers, who shall comprise:<br />

(a) The Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Divinity, who shall be Chairman<br />

(b) The Regius Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Divinity<br />

(c) The Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> School <strong>of</strong> Arts and Humanities<br />

(d) A person appointed by <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Divinity.<br />

If two or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se <strong>of</strong>fices are held by <strong>the</strong> same person or if one or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> named posts is<br />

vacant or its tenure has expired, <strong>the</strong> General Board shall appoint one or more additional Managers to<br />
