906 TRUST EMOLUMENTS<br />
3. The Prizes shall consist <strong>of</strong> grants to assist <strong>the</strong> prize-winners to publish or communicate to learned<br />
societies <strong>the</strong> results <strong>of</strong> research that <strong>the</strong>y have undertaken.<br />
4. In accordance with <strong>the</strong> wishes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> benefactor each Prize awarded shall be named by <strong>the</strong><br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essor after one or o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> three persons who are commemorated, according to <strong>the</strong> particular<br />
aspect <strong>of</strong> Pathology with which <strong>the</strong> prize-winner’s work is chiefly concerned. If <strong>the</strong> work is chiefly<br />
concerned with experimental pathology <strong>the</strong> title <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize shall be <strong>the</strong> Graham McCullagh Memorial<br />
Prize; if it is chiefly concerned with morbid anatomy <strong>the</strong> title shall be <strong>the</strong> Max Barrett Memorial Prize;<br />
if it is chiefly concerned with immunology <strong>the</strong> title shall be <strong>the</strong> Fulton Roberts Memorial Prize.<br />

Purpose.<br />
PERCEVAL FUND<br />
1. The moneys received by <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> under <strong>the</strong> Will <strong>of</strong> Spencer George Perceval in 1922, and<br />
announced in <strong>the</strong> Reporter on 16 May 1922, shall be called <strong>the</strong> Perceval Fund.<br />
2. The Managers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be <strong>the</strong> Fitzwilliam Museum Syndicate.<br />
3. The income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be expended from time to time by <strong>the</strong> Syndicate on <strong>the</strong> purchase<br />
<strong>of</strong> letters, relics, or portraits <strong>of</strong> distinguished members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> prior to <strong>the</strong> nineteenth century,<br />
or on o<strong>the</strong>r objects <strong>of</strong> art <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> same class as <strong>the</strong> Perceval collections.<br />

MICHAEL PERKINS FUND<br />
1. The money received from <strong>the</strong> Reverend J. H. T. Perkins for <strong>the</strong> fur<strong>the</strong>rance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> study <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
natural history <strong>of</strong> animals shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> Michael Perkins Fund.<br />
2. The administration <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be entrusted to <strong>the</strong> Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Department<br />
<strong>of</strong> Zoology and two o<strong>the</strong>r Managers, who shall be appointed by <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Biology in <strong>the</strong><br />
Michaelmas Term to serve for five years from 1 January following <strong>the</strong>ir appointment. All <strong>the</strong> powers<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Managers may be exercised by a majority <strong>of</strong> those present at a meeting, provided that two<br />
Managers at least be present.<br />
3. The income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be applied:<br />
(a) to <strong>the</strong> payment <strong>of</strong> a lecturer, to be called <strong>the</strong> Michael Perkins Lecturer;<br />
(b) to <strong>the</strong> fur<strong>the</strong>rance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> study <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> natural history <strong>of</strong> animals by <strong>the</strong> occasional award, at <strong>the</strong><br />
discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Managers and subject to such conditions as <strong>the</strong>y may think fit, <strong>of</strong> prizes or<br />
grants <strong>of</strong> money to young graduates <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong>;<br />
(c) to such o<strong>the</strong>r purposes as may from time to time be approved by <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Biology.<br />
4. The Michael Perkins Lecturer shall be appointed by <strong>the</strong> Managers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Michael Perkins Fund.<br />
The Lecturer shall hold <strong>of</strong>fice for one year, and shall be required to give one lecture on a subject,<br />
approved by <strong>the</strong> Managers, dealing with original investigation or interpretation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> natural history<br />
<strong>of</strong> animals.<br />

DR A MANDA PERREAU-SAUSSINE DE EZCURRA LAW PRIZE FUND<br />
Grace 4 <strong>of</strong> 31 July 2013<br />
1. Income from <strong>the</strong> Dr Amanda Perreau-Saussine de Ezcurra Law Prize Fund shall be used to<br />
provide an Amanda Perreau-Saussine de Ezcurra Prize for <strong>the</strong> History and Philosophy <strong>of</strong> International<br />
Law.<br />
2. The Managers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Law.<br />
3. Before <strong>the</strong> beginning <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Easter Term in each year, <strong>the</strong> Faculty Board <strong>of</strong> Law shall announce<br />
which <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> papers prescribed for <strong>the</strong> LLM Examination in that year are deemed to be within <strong>the</strong><br />
scope <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize, taking due account <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> syllabi <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> prescribed papers.<br />
4. The Prize shall be awarded annually by <strong>the</strong> Examiners for <strong>the</strong> LL.M. Examination for outstanding<br />
performance in:<br />
(a) one or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> papers announced under Regulation 3;<br />
or (b) an LL.M. <strong>the</strong>sis submitted in lieu <strong>of</strong> a written examination in any LL.M. paper, or for a seminar<br />
course (regardless <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> announcement made under Regulation 3), so long as <strong>the</strong> Examiners<br />
consider that <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>sis falls within <strong>the</strong> scope <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize’s title;<br />
or (c) a combination <strong>of</strong> (a) and (b).<br />
5. The value <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize shall be determined by <strong>the</strong> Managers.
