WOLFSON FUND FOR INDUSTRIAL CO-OPERATION<br />
1. The sums made available by <strong>the</strong> Wolfson Foundation shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> Wolfson Fund<br />
for Industrial Co-operation.<br />
2. The first charge on <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> maintaining a Directorship <strong>of</strong> Industrial Liaison.<br />
3. Subject to <strong>the</strong> first charge being met in accordance with Regulation 2, <strong>the</strong> capital and income <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Fund shall be applied for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> advancing co-operation between members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />
and industry in such manner as <strong>the</strong> General Board shall from time to time determine.<br />

T. B. WOOD PRIZE<br />
1. The sum given by <strong>the</strong> Indian Tea Association shall be separately invested, and <strong>the</strong> income from<br />
<strong>the</strong> Fund shall be used to provide <strong>the</strong> T. B. Wood Prize.<br />
2. The Prize shall be awarded by <strong>the</strong> Examiners for <strong>the</strong> subject Plant Sciences in Part II <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Natural Sciences Tripos for an outstanding performance in <strong>the</strong> examination for that subject.<br />
3. If no candidate be deemed worthy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize <strong>the</strong> income for that year shall be added to <strong>the</strong><br />
capital <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund.<br />

WOOD-LEGH PRIZE<br />
1. The sum bequea<strong>the</strong>d to <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> by Kathleen Louise Wood-Legh, Litt.D., formerly Fellow<br />
<strong>of</strong> Lucy Cavendish Collegiate Society (now Lucy Cavendish College), in gratitude to <strong>the</strong> Faculty <strong>of</strong><br />
History, shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> Wood-Legh Fund.<br />
2. The income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be used to provide a prize called <strong>the</strong> Wood-Legh Prize, which<br />
shall be awarded each year by <strong>the</strong> Degree Committee for <strong>the</strong> Faculty <strong>of</strong> History, on <strong>the</strong> recommendation<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Examiners for <strong>the</strong> Examination in Medieval History for <strong>the</strong> M.Phil. Degree (one-year course),<br />
to <strong>the</strong> candidate who in that examination has submitted <strong>the</strong> best dissertation.<br />
3. The value <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize shall be <strong>the</strong> annual income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund.<br />
4. If in any year <strong>the</strong> Prize is not awarded, <strong>the</strong> income for that year shall be added to <strong>the</strong> capital <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Fund.<br />

H.E. WOODMAN FUND AND PRIZE<br />
1. The sum <strong>of</strong> £300, <strong>the</strong> gift <strong>of</strong> Mrs L. Woodman in memory <strong>of</strong> her late husband, H. E. Woodman,<br />
M.A., Reader in Animal Nutrition, shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> H. E. Woodman Fund, <strong>the</strong> income from<br />
which shall be used to provide an H. E. Woodman Prize.<br />
2. The Awarders <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize shall be <strong>the</strong> Regius Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Botany and <strong>the</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Genetics.<br />
The Prize shall be awarded in <strong>the</strong> Lent Term each year to that person among <strong>the</strong> successful candidates<br />
for <strong>the</strong> degree <strong>of</strong> Ph.D. or M.Phil. who in <strong>the</strong> judgement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Awarders has presented <strong>the</strong> best<br />
dissertation on a subject connected with <strong>the</strong> chemistry <strong>of</strong> foods.<br />
3. Those students shall be eligible for <strong>the</strong> Prize who have been approved by <strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Graduate<br />
Studies during <strong>the</strong> preceding calendar year ei<strong>the</strong>r for <strong>the</strong> award <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ph.D. Degree under <strong>the</strong> regulations<br />
for Graduate Students or for <strong>the</strong> award <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> M.Phil. Degree.<br />
4. The value <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Prize shall be <strong>the</strong> income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund. If in any year <strong>the</strong> Prize is not awarded<br />
<strong>the</strong> income for that year shall be added to <strong>the</strong> capital <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund.<br />

WORDSWORTH FUND AND STUDENTSHIPS<br />
1. The benefaction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> late William Nicholson shall form a fund called <strong>the</strong> Wordsworth Fund in<br />
memory <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> late Right Reverend Christopher Wordsworth, D.D., Lord Bishop <strong>of</strong> Lincoln, and <strong>of</strong><br />
his services to <strong>the</strong> Church especially as Headmaster <strong>of</strong> Harrow School.<br />
2. The income <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fund shall be used to maintain one or more Wordsworth Studentships for <strong>the</strong><br />
purpose <strong>of</strong> enabling students educated at <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cambridge</strong> who have taken honours and<br />
who intend to take Holy Orders in <strong>the</strong> Church <strong>of</strong> England to continue in residence at <strong>Cambridge</strong> for<br />
a period <strong>of</strong> not less than twelve months in order to study Divinity.<br />
