28- พระยาอมเรศร์สมบัติ (ต่วน ศุขะวณิช) รับราชการในตำแหน่งเจ้า
กรมการผลประโยชน์ และโดยปกติแล้วบ้านของขุนนางชั้นสูงมักจะ
ออกแบบโดยสถาปนิกชาวยุโรป แต่ไม่ทราบแน่ชัดว่าใครเป็นผู้
ออกแบบบ้านหลังนี้ (พระยาอมเรศร์สมบัติเป็นขุนนางชั้นผู้ใหญ่
ผู้มีความใกล้ชิดกับท่านเจ้าของวังบางขุนพรหม และเนื่องจาก
องค์ประกอบบางอย่างของบ้านหลังนี้ เช่น ผัง และหน้าจั่วหัวตัด
คล้ายคลึงกับตำหนักสมเด็จ สถาปนิกผู้ออกแบบก็อาจจะเป็นคน
เดียวกันคือ นายคาร์ล ดือห์ริง)

type construction.

28.- Phraya Amares Sombat (Tuan Sukhavanija) was head of the
department of crown assets. Generally, houses of high ranking officials
were mainly designed by European architects. It is not clear who
designed this building, but presumably it was Karl Döhring, due to
the similarity in design with Tamnak Somdej and the owner’s close
association with the proprietor of Bang Khunphrom Palace.
29.- The turret-like structure attached to the houses is similar to
the American Queen Anne style house.

31.- The intricately refined designs on perforated sawn-timber work
had already been developed during the time of Rama V, as can be
seen on Phra Thinang Abhisek Dusit, built between 1903 and 1904,
designed by the Italian architect Mario Tamagno.

แต่งงานกับสุภาพสตรีไทยและเสียชีวิตเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2516 ที่กรุงเทพฯ
39 การประชุมครั้งแรกของสมาคมสถาปนิกสยามมีขึ้นในวันที่ 18
เมษายน พ.ศ. 2477 และผู้ที่ทรงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการบริหารงาน
ของสมาคมคือหม่อมเจ้าอิทธิเทพสรรค์ กฤดากร (16 มกราคม พ.ศ.
2432 – 19 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2477)
40- การพัฒนาฝั่งธนบุรีให้มีความเจริญด้านเศรษฐกิจและด้านการ
สาธารณูปโภคต่างๆ นั้นเป็นข้อเสนอซึ่งที่ปรึกษาชาวต่างประเทศเสนอ
ให้ดำเนินการเร่งด่วนมาตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2471 แล้ว ดังมีใจความในรายงาน
บางส่วนว่า “The Question of the development of the West Bank
of the river (ฝั่งธนบุรี) by extending to that area the amenities of
life enjoyed by the East Bank (ฝั่งพระนคร) is one of increasing
urgency ... I remarked that responsibility of the government for
developing roads, lighting, water, etc., on that bank could not be
put off much longer, ... and suggested that an attempt might be

Manfredi chose to remain in Bangkok after his contract had expired.
Manfredi received Thai citizenship in 1943 and changed his name
to Ekarit Manfendi. He married a Thai woman, and died in 1973.

took place on April 18, 1934. One of the prominent supporters of
the Association was Prince Iddhidebsan Kridakara (January 16,
