บ้านหลังนี้ สร้างโดยเน้นการประหยัดและเล็ก (เล็กเพื่อประหยัด)
โดยออกแบบให้ลมโกรกและสะท้อนความร้อนออกโดยการทา
สีขาว โครงสร้างเป็นคอนกรีตเปลือย พื้นเป็นทรายกรวดจึงไม่
ต้องวางฐานรากมาก
ผังอาคารขนาด 6 x 6 เมตร ชั้นล่างสูง 3 เมตร แบ่งเป็น 2
ส่วน คือ 3 x 6 เมตร ส่วนแรกเป็นห้องนอน ส่วนที่สองเป็นครัว
โต๊ะอาหาร และห้องน้ำ มีบันไดขึ้นชั้นบน ซึ่งนำแนวคิดมาจาก
บันไดทางขึ้นบ้านของชาวบ้านที่เพียงนำซุงมาพาดจากระดับ
ดินขึ้นไปบนชานบ้าน โดยทำขึ้นจากซุงทั้งท่อน แล้วทำการบาก
ให้เป็นขั้นบันไดพาดช่วงที่ไม่ยาวมากขึ้นในระดับที่ยังสามารถ
ปีนขึ้นลงได้ และทำให้ใช้พื้นที่ไม่มาก
ชั้นบนอยู่ที่ระดับสูง 6 เมตร ภายในทาสีขาว แม้จะติดแอร์
แต่ทำหน้าต่าง ประตูทั้งชั้นบนและชั้นล่างให้สามารถเปิดได้กว้าง
ตลอดแนวส่วนใหญ่ เพื่อรับลมธรรมชาติ ชั้นบนนี้ท ำเป็นสตูดิโอ
วาดภาพและเป็นที่อ่านหนังสือ ท่ามกลางความเงียบสงบของ
ธรรมชาติและเสียงดนตรีคลาสสิค
ชั้นบนสุดมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการปลูกไม้กระถางต่างๆ แต่
เนื่องจากลมทะเลแรงเกินไป ต้นไม้จึงโตได้ไม่มาก
การสร้างพื้นที่รองรับกิจกรรมในช่วงหลังเกษียณเป็น
กลุ่มร่วมกับมิตรสหายที่สนิทและร่วมงานกันมา ประกอบกับ
แรงบันดาลใจที่เรียนรู้จาก Picasso ศิลปินที่เป็นแบบอย่าง
ในการทำงานและการดำเนินชีวิต โดยดำเนินการออกแบบที่
คำนึงถึงความประหยัดบนขนาดที่เล็ก การวางทิศทางที่ตอบรับ
ให้เกิดการเคลื่อนที่ของมวลอากาศ เน้นการใช้สีอ่อนภายนอก
เพื่อลดการสะสมและสะท้อนความร้อนในเวลาเดียวกัน
The beach-side property of 1,400 Sq.m. for this studio was
bought from Khun Phra Sukhumvinai by the introduction
of Arjarn Rachata, whom live in the neighborhood which
aim of living nearby together. At first moved-in the house
were in its original state. However, because its too-enclose
spaces maid living uncomfortable. While having inspired
by Picasso seaside castle, where he lived and produced
lots of painting there (a painting of Picasso is hanging in
the ground level), a dream of owning studio to paint near
the sea has ever since been form time I went to study at
Europe. After that, the new studio design were taken place
around 2006, and constructed in 2007. The construction
period was 8 months with budget not exceeding 1 million
baht.
This house has aim to become an economical small
house (small to reduce cost). Designed to gain high
ventilation and reduction of heat by painting wall white.
Structure is reinforced concrete on sand-gravels ground,
therefore they need not to make too much of footing.
Size of house is 6x6 meters, with 3 meter ceiling height
at ground level. Divided into 2 zones; 3x6 meters half for
bedroom and half of kitchen, dining table and washroom.
A staircase leads to upper level which design is influenced
from local house stair case that uses a single log carved
into ladder for a compact area horizontal movement.
