Educational Needs Of Families In Turkey
single parent families, extension of the concubinage, increase in number of the
illegitimate children, rise of drug addiction, rejecting or postponing getting married
and having a child late as much as possible drive family, which is an important compo-
nent of the social system into trouble in the matter of performing its functions.
In spite of various problems encountered in the matter of family’s performing its
main functions within society, only unchanging issue on the basis is the fact that family
is at the centre of the child’s life and it leads life of the child positively or negatively. A
child coming into the world obtains information belonging to society and culture,
where he or she will live firstly and in the most concrete way within family. Child
Family education handled within this scope is considered as a way of acquiring
