regard to legal regulations concerning family members. Especially the participants in
preparation of marriage mentioned that they are very incompetent in this matter and
they want to receive training.
Another matter participants considered important in dimension of the legal topics
concerning family members is the matter of prevention of domestic violence and legal
protection measurements. Examining the opinions relating to the matter of prevention
of domestic violence, it comes to forefront that mostly women are subject to domestic
violence and they must be educated.
Another matter participants attach importance is the topic of consumer rights.
Most of the participants stressed that they do not have enough knowledge about con-
sumer rights and all of the individuals in the society must be informed in this matter.
The matter of official organizations and institutions and non – governmental
organizations for families is another point attached importance by the participants.
Participants put emphasis also on the topic of rights and responsibilities about social
security. Participants mentioned that individuals must be provided with training in the
matter of problems arising as a result of not knowing rights and responsibilities about
social security adequately.
Participants also expressed that people do not have sufficient knowledge about pre-
vention of exploitation of the children. Another point on which participants focused
momentously with regard to legal topics concerning family members is incomprehensi-
bility of law texts. Some participants think the fact that law texts were not written in a
clear language understandable by everyone creates a serious problem in people’s learning
their rights and responsibilities about legal topics.
Being asked how the training relating to legal topics concerning family members
must be, they suggested certain methods such as organization of various seminars, informing
people via most commonly watched programs on the T.V and allocating places
to related classes for students in school in addition to written and visual media tools.
