in legal topics concerning family members generally, it was observed that participants
having participated in a course relating to family education beforehand had signifi-
cantly more eagerness for participating in a training to be organized in all of topics
relating to law compared to the other participants.
Being or not being relative of a disabled person. According to the findings in the mat-
ters of legal rights and privileges of the disabled people and legal rights and responsi-
bilities of the relatives of the disabled people, it was generally seen that more than half
of the participants do not consider themselves competent in the related topics. Partici-
pants -in whose houses there are ill people or people in constant need of nursing or
disabled individuals- want to take part in training in the matter of legal rights and re-
sponsibilities of the relatives of the disabled people more compared to the participants -
in whose houses there are not these kinds of people.
Number of the children. Considering number of the children of the participants, it
was observed that participants having four or more children have low levels of consider-
ing themselves competent in all of the topics relating to law. Examining the findings
relating to family members’ eagerness for taking part in training to be organized in
legal topics concerning family members generally, it was seen that there are significant
differences in all of the topics.
