Participants’ eagerness for taking part in training to be organized in the matters of
economy differs significantly according to profession. While farmers and unemployed
people’s levels of eagerness for taking part trainings to be organized are higher com-
pared to other groups, self employed individuals and those in other professions form
the most reluctant group. Farmers and unemployed people feeling themselves most
incompetent in the matters of economy make up groups most eager in the matter of
participating in training.
Marital status. With regard to the matters in dimension of the economy, partici-
pants’ levels of finding themselves competent and their eagerness for taking part in the
trainings to be organized differ according to marital status. Those most eager for participating
in training in the matters of economy are single and engaged individuals.
Those most reluctant in the matter of participating in training are the ones whose
spouses died.
Duration of the marriage. While participants’ levels of finding themselves competent
in the matters of the economy increase in direct proportion to duration of the marriage,
their levels of eagerness for taking part in training are inversely correlated with duration
of the marriage. As the duration of the marriage increases, eagerness levels for taking
part in training decrease. The most eager group for participating in training comprises
of the individuals, whose duration of marriage is less than one year. Those, whose durations
of marriage are 16 years or more, form the most reluctant group.
Family type. Family members’ levels of finding themselves competent in all of the
matters relating to economy and levels of eagerness for taking part in training differ
significantly according to family type. Accordingly, while members of nucleus families
and broken families are the most eager people in the matter of participating in training,
they are followed by family members of extended families.
Family life periods. Family members’ levels of finding themselves competent in the
matters relating to family economy and levels of eagerness for taking part in training
differ significantly according to family life periods. Accordingly, family members in life
periods of “premarital”, “newly married”, “marriage with a small child” and “marriage
with children in different developmental levels” are the most eager ones for taking part
