Educational Needs Of Families In Turkey
With regard to educational needs of the families, this part presents findings ob-
tained at the end of the quantitative and qualitative analyses made for revealing compe-
tence levels of families in the matters of (1) family economy, (2) family law, (3) family
health, (4) education in the family, (5) communication in family and (6) use of media
in family and their levels of eagerness for taking part in training. While giving findings
relating to each topic, firstly results of the Chi-square analysis made in the quantita-
tive part of the research were presented and then results of the content analysis made in
the qualitative part of the research were presented.
7.3.1. Family Economy
Six titles were determined to be the most important topics in family economy with
an aim to determine competence levels of families and their levels of eagerness for tak-
ing part in training with regard to family economy. These topics are mentioned below:
