In qualitati<strong>ve</strong> part of the research, participants were asked about their opinions<br />

regarding the communication in the family, what kind of problems they experience,<br />

whether or not they need training, the topic in which they need training and how the<br />

trainings must be gi<strong>ve</strong>n, with aim to determine educational needs of families regarding<br />

the communication.<br />

At the end of the conducted content analysis, it was seen that opinions of the<br />

families about communication in the family gathered around following fi<strong>ve</strong> main titles<br />

(themes – categories): (1) communication problems, (2) communication among family<br />

members, (3) things done when there are problems in family, (4) topic suggestions<br />

relating to communication and (5) educating marriage candidates. There are also 47<br />

sub-codes within the scope of these fi<strong>ve</strong> themes. Findings and comments obtained with
