In qualitative part of the research, participants were asked about their opinions
regarding the communication in the family, what kind of problems they experience,
whether or not they need training, the topic in which they need training and how the
trainings must be given, with aim to determine educational needs of families regarding
the communication.
At the end of the conducted content analysis, it was seen that opinions of the
families about communication in the family gathered around following five main titles
(themes – categories): (1) communication problems, (2) communication among family
members, (3) things done when there are problems in family, (4) topic suggestions
relating to communication and (5) educating marriage candidates. There are also 47
sub-codes within the scope of these five themes. Findings and comments obtained with
