Monthly income. Generally, as average income of the family increases, participants’
levels of considering themselves competent in these matters increase. According to
Chi-square analysis data about eagerness of family members for taking part in the
training about the topics in dimension of communication, eagerness for taking part in
the trainings does not change according to the average level income of the family.
Educational background. In dimension of the communication, generally, as educa-
tional levels of the family members increase, their levels of considering themselves
competent also increase. While especially illiterate participants constitute the most
reluctant group for taking part in the trainings to be given in the communication mat-
ters, demand for training increases until educational level rises to secondary training,
but it decreases again after the secondary training. Accordingly, the least and most
educated groups are the groups most reluctant in the matter of taking part in the train-
ings to be organized in the communication topics.
Profession. Evaluating Chi-square analyses according to profession, it is generally
seen that unemployed people consider themselves more incompetent in the matters
relating to dimension of communication compared to the other participants. Civil ser-
vants constitute the group considering themselves most competent. Evaluating Chi-

and farmers are more eager for taking part in a training to be organized in the matter of
communication compared to other professions.
Marital status. Generally, single and / or engaged people constitute groups consid-
ering themselves most incompetent in dimension of communication. According to

part in a training to be organized in dimension of communication according to marital
status, it is seen that engaged people in preparation of marriage, who feel themselves
more incompetent in the matters relating to the communication constitute the group
most eager for taking part in a training to be organized. It is obvious that organization
of various educational activities before marriage will be beneficial for people in preparation
of marriage.
Duration of the marriage. According to Chi-square analysis results relating to comparison
