1 Remember, O Lord, what happened to us; look, and see our reproach. 2 Our<br />

oven; they shriveled up due to the presence of the storms of famine. 11 They humiliated<br />

women in Zion, virgins in the cities of Judah. 12 Rulers were suspended by their hands;<br />

elders were not glorified. 13 The chosen took up weeping, and youths were weakened by<br />

wood. 14 Elders ceased from the gate; the chosen ceased from their psalms. 15 The joy of<br />

our hearts dissolved; our dance was turned into mourning. 16 The crown fell off our<br />

head. Woe indeed to us, for we sinned! 17 Regarding this, our hearts became sorrowful;<br />

regarding this, our eyes darkened. 18 Foxes passed through on Mount Zion, because it is<br />

19 But you, O Lord, will reside forever, your throne for generation after generation.<br />

20 Why will you forget us in a dispute and abandon us for a length of days? 21 Return us,<br />
