will be blocked, and the valley of the mountains will be joined as far as Azel. It will be
blocked just as it was blocked in the days of the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah king
of Judah." The Lord my God will arrive, and all the holy ones with him. 6 On that day
there will be no light, cold, and frost; 7 it will be for one day, and that day is known to
the Lord. It will not be day and it will not be night; there will even be light towards
evening. 8 On that day fresh water will come out of Jerusalem, half of it into the former
sea and half of it into the latter sea; it will be so even in summer and in spring.
9 The Lord will be as king over all the land. On that day there will be one Lord, and
his name will be one. 10 It will surround A all the land, even the desert from Geba to
Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Ramah will remain in place from the gate of Benjamin to
the place of the first gate, to the gate of the corners, and to the tower of Hananel, as
far as the winepresses of the king. 11 They will inhabit it; there will no longer be any
curse, and Jerusalem will inhabit confidently.
12 This will be the overthrow by which the Lord will cut down all the peoples, as
many as waged war against Jerusalem: their flesh will melt while they are standing on
their feet, their eyes will ooze out of their sockets, and their tongues will melt in their
mouths. 13 On that day there will be great astonishment from the Lord over them; each
of them will take hold of the hand of his neighbor, and his hand will be joined to the
hand of his neighbor. 14 Judah will line up with Jerusalem, and he will gather the
strength of all the surrounding peoples, gold, silver, and clothing in exceeding
abundance. 15 This will be the overthrow of the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all
the livestock which is in those camps, in agreement with this overthrow.
16 It will be that whoever is left out of all the nations which came against Jerusalem
will also ascend each year to worship the king, the almighty Lord, and to celebrate the
Festival of Tabernacles. 17 It will be that whoever out of all the tribes of the earth does
not ascend to Jerusalem to worship the king, the almighty Lord, these also will be
added to the others. 18 If a tribe of Egypt does not ascend or come there, against these
there will be the overthrow by which the Lord will attack all the nations, whoever does
not ascend to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 19 This will be the sin of Egypt and
the sin of all the nations, whoever does not ascend to celebrate the Festival of
Tabernacles. 20 On that day there will be on the bridle of the horse, "Holy for the
almighty Lord." The cauldrons which are in the house of the Lord will be like bowls
before the face of the altar. 21 Every cauldron in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy for
the almighty Lord. All who sacrifice will arrive, take from them, and boil in them. A
Canaanite will no longer be in the house of the almighty Lord on that day.
