seat there will be four cubits, and the breadth will be a cubit. 15 The ariel A will be four
18 He also said to me, "Son of man, thus says the Lord God of Israel: `These are the
ordinances of the altar on the day of its making, to offer up on it whole burnt offerings
and to pour out blood on it. 19 You will give to the priests, to the Levites, to those of the
seed of Zadok, to those who draw near me,´ says the Lord God, `in order to perform
public service for me, a calf from the cattle concerning sin. 20 They will take some of its
blood and will place it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the mercy
seat, and on the base all around; they will sprinkle it B and they will make atonement for
it. 21 They will take the calf which is concerning sin, and it will be burned in the
separated part of the house, outside the holy places. 22 On the second day they will take
two unblemished kids of the goats on behalf of sin, and they will make atonement for
the altar just as they made atonement with the calf. 23 After you complete the
atonement, they will bring forth an unblemished calf from the cattle and an
unblemished ram from the sheep. 24 You will bring them forth before the Lord, and the
priests will sprinkle salt on them and offer them up as whole burnt offerings to the
Lord. 25 For seven days you will render a kid on behalf of sin each day, as well as a calf
from the cattle and a ram from the sheep; they will render them unblemished for seven
days. 26 They will make atonement for the altar and cleanse it, and they will fill their
hands. 27 It will be that, from the eighth day onward, the priests will render on the altar
your whole burnt offerings and those pertaining to your salvation, and I will accept
you,´ says the Lord."
Ezekiel 44
1 He returned me by the way of the outer gate of the holy places, which looked
toward the east; it was shut. 2 The Lord said to me, "This gate will be shut; it will not be
opened, and no one will pass through it. For the Lord God of Israel will come in through
it, and it will be shut. 3 For the governor will sit in it in order to eat bread before the
Lord; he will come in by the way of the ulam of the gate, and he will come out by his
way."
4 He brought me in by the way of the gate which was to the north, in front of the
house. I looked, and behold, the house of the Lord was full of glory, and I fell on my
face. 5 The Lord said to me, "Son of man, make arrangements in your heart, see with
your eyes, and hear with your ears everything which I am speaking with you according
