Ezekiel 46
1 Thus says the Lord God: "The gate which is in the inner courtyard, which looks to
the east, will be shut for the six working days. On the day of the sabbath it will be
opened, and on the day of the new moon it will be opened. 2 The governor will enter by
the way of the ulam of the inner gate, and he will stand at the doors of the gate. The
priests will produce his whole burnt offerings and those pertaining to his salvation, and
he will worship at the door of the gate. He will come out, and the gate will not be shut
until evening. 3 The people of the land will worship before the Lord at the doors of that
gate, both on the sabbaths and at the new moons. 4 The governor will offer whole burnt
offerings for the Lord on the day of the sabbath: six unblemished lambs, an
unblemished ram, 5 a manna pastry for the ram, a sacrifice for the lambs (a gift from his
hand), and a hin of oil for the pastry. 6 On the day of the new moon, there will be an
unblemished calf (the son of a herd), B six lambs, and an unblemished ram, 7 and there
will be a pastry for the ram, a pastry for the calf and for the lambs just as his hand may
furnish, and a hin of oil for the pastry. 8 When the governor goes in, he will come in by
the way of the ulam of the gate, and he will come out by the way of the gate.
9 Whenever the people of the land go in before the Lord during the feasts, the one who
goes in to worship by the way of the gate which is on the north will come out by the
way of the gate which is on the south, and the one who goes in by the way of the gate
which is on the south will come out by the way of the gate which is on the north. He
will not return by the gate through which he came in, but he will come out straight
across from it. 10 The governor will come in with them in their midst when they go in,
and will come out when they go out. 11 During the feasts and during the general
assemblies, there will be a manna pastry for the calf, a pastry for the ram and for the
lambs just as his hand may furnish, and a hin of oil for the pastry. 12 If the governor
produces as an acknowledgment to the Lord a whole burnt offering pertaining to
salvation, he will open for himself the gate which looks toward the east, and he will
produce his whole burnt offering and those pertaining to his salvation in the manner
that he produces them on the day of the sabbath. He will come out, and he will shut
the doors after he comes out. 13 He will produce a year old unblemished lamb as a
whole burnt offering each day for the Lord; he will produce it in the morning. 14 He will
produce for it in the morning a sixth of a measure of manna and a third of a hin of oil,
in order to mix the manna flour for the Lord continually as an eternal ordinance. 15 You
will produce the lamb and the manna, and you will produce the oil in the morning
continually as a whole burnt offering."
16 Thus says the Lord God: "If the governor gives a gift to one of his sons from his
inheritance, this will be a possession for his sons by inheritance. 17 If he gives a gift from
his inheritance to one of his servants, it will be for him until the year of release, and he
