will give it back to the governor; nevertheless, it will be part of the inheritance of his
sons for them. 18 The governor will not take part of the inheritance of the people in
order to overpower them. He will give an inheritance to his sons from his possession, so
that each of my people may be not scattered from his possession."´"
19 He brought me into the entrance of what was behind the gate, into the arcade of
the holy things of the priests, which looked to the north. Behold, there was a place
which had been set apart. 20 He said to me, "This is the place where the priests will boil
those on behalf of sin ignorance and those on behalf of sin. There also they will bake
the entire manna, so as not to bring it out into the outer courtyard to sanctify the
people." 21 He brought me out into the outer courtyard and led me around by the four
parts of the courtyard. Behold, there was a courtyard on the sides of the courtyard, a
courtyard on each side, 22 a courtyard for the four sides of the courtyard, little
courtyards forty cubits in length and thirty cubits in width (one measure for the four).
23 There were arcades all around in them, all around the four, and kitchens located
under the arcades all around. 24 He said to me, "These are the houses of the kitchens, A
where those who perform public service for the house will boil the sacrificial animals of
the people."
Ezekiel 47
1 He brought me in by the threshold of the house. Behold, water was going out
under the atrium toward the east, for the face of the house looked toward the east. The
water was descending from the right side, from the south by the altar. 2 He brought me
out by the way of the gate which was on the north, and he led me around the way
outside to the gate of the courtyard which looked toward the east. Behold, water was
being brought down from the right side.
3 Just then there was a departure of a man from the opposite direction, and a
measuring line was in his hand. He measured a thousand with the measure, and he
passed through in the water; it was water from a conduit. B 4 He measured a thousand,
and he passed through the water; it was water up to the thighs. He measured a
thousand, and he passed through; it was water up to the loins. 5 He measured a
thousand, and he could not pass through, for the water was violent like a rush of a
wadi which they do not go across. 6 He said to me, "Have you seen this, son of man?"
He brought me by the lip of the river. 7 In my returning, behold, by the lip of the river
there was an exceedingly large number of trees on this side and on that side. 8 He said
to me, "This is the water which is going out to Galilee which is toward the east. It was
descending to Arabia and coming until it was by the sea, by the water of the outlet; the
waters will be healthy. 9 It will be that every soul of the animals which are teeming over
everything, over which the river will come there, will live. An exceedingly large number
of fish will be there, for this water will arrive there, and they will be healthy and live.
Everything over which the river comes there will live. 10 Fishermen will stand there from
Engedi to Eneglaim; it will be a drying place for dragnets. It will be by itself; its fish will
