Isaiah 21
1 The vision of the desert.
As a hurricane might pass through a desert, coming from a desert, from land, 2 so a
fearful and harsh vision was declared to me. The one who is treacherous acts

the ambassadors of the Persians are coming against me. Now I will groan and comfort

of a pair of horses. He answered and said, "Babylon has fallen; all her statues and her
manufactured things were crushed to the ground." 10 Hear, you who have been
abandoned and you who are in pain; hear the things I heard from the Lord of sabaóth.
The God of Israel made a declaration to us.
11 The vision of Idumea.
He calls to me from Seir, "Guard the battlements!" 12 I am guarding in the morning

13 You will lie down in the grove at evening, in the way of Dedan. 14 You who reside in
