exceedingly weighed down in the heart of the sea.
26 Your rowers brought you into much water; a breeze from the south broke you in
the heart of the sea. 27 They were your forces, the reward of you and of your associates.
Your rowers, your pilots, your counselors, your associates from your associates, all your
military men who were in you, and all your congregation in your midst will fall in the
heart of the sea on the day of your fall. 28 At the sound of your cry, your pilots will be
afraid. 29 All your rowers will descend from the ships, and the mariners and navigators of
the sea will stand on the land. 30 They will shout about you with their voice, cry out
bitterly, put earth on their heads, and spread ashes underneath. A 32 Their sons will take
up a lamentation over you and a lamenting for you: 33 How much reward did you find
from the sea? You filled nations from your abundance; from your association you
enriched all the kings of the earth. 34 Now you have been broken in the sea, in depth of
water; your association, all your congregation in your midst, and all your rowers have
fallen. 35 All who resided on the islands became hostile to you, their kings were
astonished, and their faces shed tears. 36 Merchants from the nations hissed at you; you
became a destruction, and you will no longer exist forever.´"´"
Ezekiel 28
1 The word of the Lord was directed at me, saying, 2 "Son of man, say to the ruler of
Tyre, `Thus says the Lord: "Since your heart was exalted, you said, `I am God; I have
resided in the residence of God in the heart of the sea.´ But you are a man and not
God, yet you gave your heart as the heart of God. 3 Are you wiser than Daniel? Didn't
the wise discipline you with their skill? 4 You didn't make power for yourself by your skill
or by your intelligence, and make gold and silver by your treasures, did you? 5 By your
abundant skill and your merchandise, you multiplied your power; your heart was
exalted by your power." 6 Because of this, thus says the Lord: "Since you have given
your heart as the heart of God, 7 in response to this, behold, I am bringing against you
strange pestilences from the nations. They will draw their swords against you and
against the beauty of your skill, and they will lay your beauty low resulting in
destruction. 8 They will bring you down, and you will die the death of the wounded in
the heart of the sea. 9 You won't say, `I am God,´ in the sight of those who are doing
away with you, will you? You are a man and not God. 10 Among the multitude of the
uncircumcised, you will perish B by the hands of strangers, for I have spoken, says he
Lord."´"

lamentation over the ruler of Tyre; say to him, `Thus says the Lord, the Lord: "You are
the seal of a likeness and the crown of beauty. 13 You were in the luxury of the paradise
of God; you have bound to yourself every useful stone: ruby, topaz, emerald, garnet,
